I finally have some new LOs and will try and post soon.  Looking forward to the UKS cybercrop - which means more LOs! 

I'm on a roll...

I'm trying to work my way through 2 kits, but have really become tired over the same papers, so I have gotten another kit down from my room and using parts of that one too.

This layout was done for UkScrappers March wk 2 challenge here.  I made a flap with the photos to get more on the page.

I thought 50+9 sounded younger!

busy weekend...

 Catching up on all the pictures I took on a trip to Highfields...I think I have too many pictures.

I'm trying to use all the elements in a couple of Sarah's Cards kits.  I will work my way through them..and then I can buy more!!

 Again at Highfields, I think this was a trip from September - journalling is about bringing back memories of going when we were younger, fishing for tadpoles.

 Charlie's homework project - just need to copy the film to cd and include in pocket with journalling - they had to present there favourite nursery rhyme character, he chose the big bad wolf and made his own version with the help of his cousins - The big bad wolf, little pig and red riding hood!

 Thanks to Charlie playing with his felt tips he found that if you splat them really hard they make a cool blob..so I used them on my LO.  Now the felt tips are mine  hahaha

Some new layouts

No kraft card!!  LO of me and my mum having a day scrapping.  Used the theme of Joy from the UKScrappers monthly challenge for March.

My Nieces and Charlie...they always seem to play in the bathroom!

More layouts that seem to be having a Kraft card backing theme...

 March week 1 challenge from UKScrappers, use a sketch (below) and distressing or tearing + 5 different patterned papers.  Used an old Sarahs Cards kit (I think August 2010) - really enjoyed doing this, apart from when you have placed it all down and then realise you have to then take it apart to stick it down.  It did take me a while as I was watching Covert Affairs while sticking! (not the best of ideas).

Simple Recipe - Feb 2012

LO done using the Simple Recipe for Feb 2012 from UK Scrappers here, I'm going to use these colours again to use up the other papers I have.  These photos were taken at the Nottingham Christmas fair - took Charlie a little persuasion to get me on the ride, after finally agreeing I loved it, I always did love the merry go round!

New Layouts and Cards.....

First up is my 365 photos page for January.  I found an out note book and did a bit of painting and misting and plonking of paper, I printed each photo out with the relevant numbered day and a description of each days word.  I haven't just taken random photos of anything,I have tried to take photos of everyday life which fit in with the prompt word - hopefully this will make a story of my everyday life by the end of the year!

 UKS House challenge for February - using the colour scheme on the left.  My Layout on the right is of the PJ's I had for Christmas, they are so warm I love them.

Next up, is one done using UKS February week 2 challenge:

- include movement in some form or other

- use red/black colour scheme

- include some stamping

I did Charlie dancing in the front room to LMFAO song, I'm Sexy and I know it.  I also have it recorded for his 18th birthday so I can re-show him.

Card time next...Doran's dad's, 3 sisters and Nan's.

Used a Sketch from a January weekly challenge on UKS, pictures from the few days of snow we had.  Chipboard snow flake and papers are scraps left over from a cyber crop kit from Dec 2010

 My nephew at my mums house - just love these pictures of him making music.  Paper is from paper stack called Grade School (if I remember rightly).











Megan's 9th Birthday, she wanted a pamper day, love the pictures of them at my brothers having face packs!  The landscape photo opens out to reveal 2 more photos underneath.  Used prompts from Feb week 1 challenge on UKS,  use a photo of a woman/women, use sewing somewhere, celebrate an achievement

Last but not least, Aimee's 6th Birthday from October.  The photo is a little bent as I used mist and now my paper is bent - I think this one needs to go under some heavy books for a while!  Even used my Tim Holtz tape and cut up some chipboard (got the idea from Shimelle's layout here).
