4th December 2010

A day spent sticking and cutting, it's been great. loads done.

Unfortunately the lovely snow is now melting. What a sad day ;-)

Dad took Charlie out to £1 shop (instead of promised sledging as he was too ill) they ended up seeing Santa, he said he asked for DS games. All the kids went.

With Christmas coming soon I would like everything to be jut right, as it should be. At home with OH and DS, opening presents and lazing around. Cook dinner, eat, wash up. then tea time off to visit OH parents and then for tea at mine, all the kids there and brother, lots of noise and come home with headache (only joking) settling to a nice bit of TV maybe a film in the evening.

Great start to December, can't wait for the rest of it.....christmas present shopping, wrapping, food shopping, finishing work for holidays, relaxing.

3rd December

Christmas Cards - hmmm should I make them? or should I buy them? if I make them will they get done in time? if I buy them will I actually go and buy them? when will I send them? if it is anything like every other christmas I will think about sending them on the 24th December!

I have made 1.

Its been freezing today even the icicles haven't melted. They always look a little dangerous to me. nice though!

Snowing again, in the last few hours we must of had 2-3 Inches, need a bigger garden to fit more in. I'm also thinking that we should of got more than a bottle of coke from the shop earlier, stock up to keep us going. Oh well we have beans and rice (if the celebrities can eat it in the jungle we can eat it, and ours are baked beans so must be nicer).

Cybercropping tonight on UKS, I have done 1 class up to now and really enjoyed it.

Thursday 2 December 2010

2nd December

The weather outside is.....snow, snow and more snow with a hint of snow. Been snowing all day, I love it!

Off work again today, and DS (although Ds only off due to being ill).

A lazy pj day for all of us.

Well England didn't get the world cup 2018, some not happy people about.

I'm getting ready for sticking all weekend!

1st December 2010

Snow Day today!

Stepping out the front door and the snow was over sons Wellington boot, he loved it. His school must be one of the only ones open, but they did close at 2pm My work/school was closed (wahooo time to catch up on some crafting!)

DJ got home safely too, the street was blocked but he is safe and sound here (unlike last night!)

Christmas is really coming, I can't wait. I am a big kid at heart, love snow, love christmas, love everything about it.

My little man has been questioning Santa for a few years now, I have had all the 'it's you that put's the presents under the tree mummy' and 'I know he isn't real' or 'if he was real he would be 1000 years old now' - but he is 7 this year and my convincing him each year seems to have paid off as this year no questions, he believes! He knows that santa always knows when boys and girls are good, he said he hopes he is on santa's 'good list' and he was having a 'word' with him last night. He said to santa:

I promise to be really good. If I can have a present I would really like some DS games to go with my new DS I am having for my birthday. And if you would like to get me a card Santa I would REALLY like that, and if you could write in it yourself I would really like that even more. please can you also if you get chance to give my friends some presents too as I know they would like that. And Santa...would you please please please be able to get my mummy a present (he knows adults don't get presents from santa) she would really really really really really like it....oh and she likes craft stuff from QVC - that would be really nice please.

he went on but couldn't hear any more.

What a nice way to start Christmas month.

Monday 26 April 2010

I put these posts on back to front, they should all be one, but got a little mixed up with the photos!

Vine Street challenge, to use vines on a layout

The Strand class

water works challenge, to use water picture or technique and holiday photo (I think that's right!!) - still need to add journalling when I can get the details off my dad

Picadilly, scrap a new tradition

Pentonville, lovely wire work class, tricky but really like the hearts!

Pass GO challenge, use 4 different elements (thimbles - sewing, cars - moveable part, ships - metal, top hat - hidden element).
I love this photo - on closer inspection my DS has milk around his mouth!

park lane challenge, to use a sketch (I used my own) and outdoor photos.

Pall Mall class making a wreath, I used chipboard hearts and leaves, I'm going to put this on my craft room door!

Oxford Street Class, glimmer mist background, (which my fingers are still blue). Not the best of photos as this is hanging on my landing wall above the stairs so wasn't easy to photograph to get the best effect. It looks lovely!

Mayfair class, with painted background, textured grungeboard and stamping. Featuring my mum, dad and my lovely grandad

Angel Islington, My ds climbing on the lions outside Leeds Town hall.
